Discussion: 10 years of Girls Aloud Nov 30th 2012, 07:46 Today, 10 years ago, the English-Irish Pop girl group "Girls Aloud" were formed in the ITV1 talent show Popstars: The Rivals in 2002. The group consists of Cheryl Cole (née Tweedy), Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh. The group is one of the best pop groups of all time, and they're the best selling girl group of the 2000s, not to mention that they had a lot of groundbreaking hits, The group was also named the UK's biggest selling girl group of the 21st century. Discography Compilation albums The Times stated, "Not since Abba and Michael Jackson has pure pop been so unanimously praised."
