As simple as that, the label said there weren't smashes in the album, after a couple of singles flopped they were ready to make a re-release to add some hit-ready songs. I know the label tried to make a lead single out of it but they gave up and released other singles. I think they just didn't have any vision to turn this great song into a hit.
