Discussion: Nobody talks about how Skyfall underperformed in U.S.. Feb 1st 2013, 03:12 Adele the supposed Queen, the one slaying our faves, and having amazing album sales didn't slay with Skyfall tho? :confused: It debuted in the low Top 10 at #8, and that ended up being it's peak. It fell next week to #13, and kept falling. It didn't even become big here, and literally nobody I knew ever sung or talked about it. It didn't make any impact on the Year End Hot 100, and it only went Platinum - and Wiki says it got a 66% increase from being played in theaters, I imagine how worse it would've done w/o that. Plus the fact, James Bond is becoming one of the Highest Grossing Movies of All-Time and this song performed like this. Now idk about how it did WW, but that doesn't sound like slayage to me. I wonder if her new album after 21 will end up being a hit like 21?...

We recently caught up with Robin Antin, the founder and creator of the Pussycat Dolls, to get her thoughts on the girls possibly getting back together. I've spoken to ALL 5 girls and they all feel the same!” So, are there any hard feelings between the girls since the split in 2009? Antin insisted: “Absolutely not. When you have five girls, living and breathing 24/7 together, there will always be some sort of conflict! No one is to blame… but truth is, they all loved each other, like sisters." As for Nicole’s previous claims that she sang 95% of the PCD vocals, Robin stated that that was just “a number she threw out there” and that she meant no harm. Robin also mentioned that all the girls are proud of each other and that with Nicole judging X Factor UK, that’d be a great way for the girls to perform together once again. That is, IF a reunion ever occurs. We’ll keep our fingers crossed! In the meantime, it sounds like Robin is working on creating ANOTHER girl group right now, which is set to launch soon. News: 49ers deny involvement in It Gets better video Feb 1st 2013, 01:45 A series of anti-gay remarks made by San Francisco 49ers cornerback Chris Culliver cast the Super Bowl-bound team in a negative light just days ahead of the NFL championship game. Though Culliver has since apologized for the controversial statements, the backlash seems unlikely to dissipate now that a new wrinkle has emerged. The 49ers' linebacker Ahmad Brooks and nose tackle Isaac Sopoaga, both of whom participated in the team's widely-praised "It Gets Better" video last summer, have denied ever producing the clip. The players told USA Today Sports that they didn't realize the video's aim was to specifically combat bullying experienced by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) teens. "This is America and if someone wants to be gay, they can be gay," Brooks told the publication. "But I didn't make any video." Later, after he was reportedly shown the video on an iPhone, the player clarified, "Oh, that. It was an anti-bullying video, not a gay [rights] video." Even more curiously, Sopoaga also denied taking part in the clip, even as a teammate reportedly tried to jog his memory. "I never went," he declared. "And now someone is using my name." LGBT rights activists have yet to respond to Brooks and Sopoaga's claims. But the firestorm over Culliver's statements (he told Artie Lange that he "don't do the gay guys, man" and that an openly gay player would not be welcome on the 49ers) continues to rage, even though team officials have released a statement saying they "proudly support the LGBT community." Interestingly, Culliver's comments initially came on the heels of news that former 49ers offensive tackle Kwame Harris was in court on assault charges from a former boyfriend. Though Harris last played for the 49ers in 2007, many former teammates quickly came to his defense in the media. A petition has since been launched on change.org asking the NFL to send Culliver to spend a day with the New York Gay Football League. "This will give him an opportunity to see that openly gay players perform just as well as heterosexual players," the petition's organizer, Christian Fuscarino, writes.
