Okay, I see this statement thrown around on this forum whenever someone under performs or doesn't rule the charts with an iron fist. I really don't understand where you all are coming from, and I think a lot of you say it enough to make this a valid question.
So what makes a song "good enough"? Was "One More Night" and "Sexy and I Know it" good enough? I saw so many people complaining about those songs during their reign; the same ones who say Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, and Nelly Furtado aren't making music that is "good enough" to smash.
Does the general public pick up on whether a song is "good enough"? Explain, ATRL.
