It was everywhere and more importantly, a lot of people bought it on Itunes due to Youtube. Usually, only radio can play that big of an influence. In a typical year, a viral hit might happen once or twice. If the HOT 100 measures popularity, then it is only right that Youtube views is counted. What's more popular? A song that is listened to 103 million times on Youtube, selling 263,000 copies, little radio or A song that is listened to 5 million times on Youtube, selling 300,000 digital copies, 100 million radio impression.
