John and Katy were photographed grinning as they unloaded their bags, pillows and junk food on Tuesday. It looked as if they may have even fitted in a trip to the gym, with Katy in black jogging bottoms and a white top, which exposed her hot pink bra. John, 35, was equally low key in his casual clothes as he carried Katy's bags indoors.
Their weekend away followed a romantic Valentine's Day on which John Mayer gave Katy Perry a heart-shaped red ruby ring.
The Born and Raised singer opened up about Perry last week , telling CBS that he doesn't feel like he's in a celebrity relationship. 'For the first time in my life I don't feel like I'm in a celebrity relationship. I really don't. I'm not in a high profile - I know it's high profile,' Mayer said in the televised interview. 'Doesn't feel that way to me. And great! I'm glad...For me, it feels like something that's very human.' John has a notorious reputation for loving and leaving some of Hollywood's most eligible ladies, including Taylor Swift, Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Love-Hewitt and Minka Kelly.
'I was just a jerk,' he admitted. 'It's very liberating when you finally realise that it's impossible to make everyone like you. I wanted everybody to like me. I thought I was one shuck and jive away in every direction.' Mayer still plans on tying the knot someday, saying: 'Of course. I mean, I'm still the kid from Connecticut. That's what you do.' Before Mayer, Katy was linked to male model Baptiste Giabiconi and Florence And The Machine guitarist Rob Ackroyd following her divorce from comedian Russell Brand.
