Celeb News: The Tea Party blame J.Lo for swinging the Latino vote Feb 21st 2013, 07:45 Conservative political operatives believe that actress/singer Jennifer Lopez was used as a secret weapon by President Obama to win re-election. According to reporting from Politico, a top operative for the billionaire energy tycoon Koch Brothers, is currently circulating emails describing Lopez as the source of “peer pressure” amongst latino voters during the 2012 election. Kevin Gentry has reportedly circulated emails among conservative strategists requesting that a pro-Obama ad starring Lopez be studied and deconstructed. Gentry described Lopez as “the #1 public celebrity for young Latinas.” Politico said Gentry was “capitvated” by the ad. The Koch brothers, who provided most of the funding for the Tea Party movement, spent millions unsuccesfully in order to defeat President Obama and other Democrats in 2012. After they failed, they reportedly have laid off hundreds of staffers and have had to re-think their entire operation.
