Discussion: Mexico vs USA: equivalent artists
Sep 14th 2012, 01:47

This is just for fun, I know every artist is different and there's no reason to compare them and blah blah blah... so don't make those kind of comments please :)

3Ball / LMFAO
Both new acts, who are really danceful music, with really unique and bizzre styles, kind of atention whoring. They both had a huge single, followed by a moderated hit.

Alejandra Guzman / P!nk
They're both icons of powerful pop-rocker women who don't give a sh!t about anything.

Anahi / Miley Cyrus
Both had been around the tabloids since they were little kids, but had a TV show that skyrocketed them into a huge fame. They've both had a lot of personal troubles and polemics, but still keep a very loyal fanbase (even if it's mostly of teenagers).

Belinda / Hilary Duff
Similar to the pair above, they started their success in TV, but differently from the other 2 girls, they had a "good girl" image for a big part of their career. They focus on both their musical career and as actrees.

Gloria Trevi / Madonna
Huge fanbases, huge career, huge polemics, huge icons of the gay world.

Maria Jose / Gwen Stefani
Ex-integrants of succesful bands, who kept still very succesful after leaving their bands. They always keep sexy and classy in everything they do and the public adores them.

Reik / Maroon 5
Both bands started in 2003 with a career full of moderate and big hits, and are mostly known for their downtempo love songs, but still releasing some succesful uptempos once in a while.

Yuridia / Kelly Clarkson
Very powerful and succesful women who came out of a musical reality show. Both are great album sellers

Any other comparission missing?
