New anime "sequel" of the original Saint Seiya.
Evil God Mars comes to the earth to become the new "regent" god instead of Athena. After a gruesome battle a meteorite falls which inflicts Mars with dark powers but leaving him too damage to keep on fighting.
The meteor also affected the clothes, which are now carried in Cloth Stones rather than the old Pandora's Boxes, and the cosmos, giving saints power over one of six elements: Fire, Wind, Water, Earth, Thunder, Light and Darkness.
After years of calmness, Mars comes back to attack Saori, but the original saints fight him back, and even when they manage to win, he inflicts dark wounds on the saints leaving them unable to don their clothes or burning cosmo.
The new saints are:
PEGASUS KOGA, light element.
LIONET SOUMA, fire element.
AQUILA YUNA, wind element.
DRAGONG RYOHU, water element.
WOLF HARUTO, earth element
ORION EDEN, thunder element
I was sick this weekend, so I watched the whole series up to the most recent episode, and I find it entertaining. Is not as dramatically charged as the original, but the main character is much more interesting than Seiya was, and having a female saint among the main group and the fact that she's really one of the 3 more powerful (if not second) saints is quite refreshing.
