Macklemore & Ryan Lewis stay atop the ARIA Singles chart for a third week with their second No.1 "Same Love". It is double good news for the Seattle act.
Their former chart-topper "Thrift Shop" is at No.2 again helped by it's crowning on the Triple J Hottest 100 for 2012 (JJJ#1). "Same Love" also did well, coming in at No.15 on the countdown.
It's now the tenth week at No.1 for Macklemore from his two No.1's, with the last act to stay at the top for ten straight weeks being LMFAO with "Party Rock Anthem" (April to June 2011), the longest running No.1 for this decade so far. Apart from two songs changing places, the Top 7 tracks all remain stable this week, with The Lumineers holding at No.3 for a second week with "Ho Hey", but they are joined in the other Top 10 by their self-titled album up to No.10 this week. Moving up a place from last weeks debut of No.5 to No.4 this week are Birds of Tokyo with "Lanterns", pushing "Scream & Shout" by Will.i.am and Britney Spears down a place to No.5. Icona Pop hold at No.6 with "I Love it",
