Like a true lotus, she rose from the ashes in 2005 and slayed everyone and your fave with "The Emancipation of Mimi", cementing her status as the one true Pop/R&B Slaystress. Her new album is scheduled to come out this Spring, which will undoubtedly be promoted by American Idol (A la J-Lo). Can Mimi make a triumphant return?
