But now that Rihanna has more hits and bigger hits than Beyoncé and her total solo record sales are greater than Beyoncé, what will it take for Rihanna to be considered the more iconic, profitable and leading solo female artist? Will Rihanna ever surpass Beyoncé's status? Beyoncé is considered a legend by many in the music industry, the media and the public, the same cannot be said for Rihanna.
