The WORLD MUSIC AWARDS is moving to Miami for its biggest show ever on December 20!
The 2012 WORLD MUSIC AWARDS will take place on December 20 in Miami, the most exciting multicultural city in the world! It will be the biggest year ever for this spectacular Musical Olympics in its 22nd edition. The show will go out LIVE in mondovision to 180 countries reaching over a billion viewers! The message the WORLD MUSIC AWARDS wants to get across to the whole planet just before christmas is one of peace and helping others. The WORLD MUSIC AWARDS has a long track record of helping children and those less fortunate around the globe. This year World Music Awards will be helping victims of Superstorm Sandy by actively supporting Relief Efforts in New York and New Jersey and by building a second World Music Awards Home in Haiti for children. Nowhere was Sandy's fury more murderous than in long-suffering Haiti, where more than 20 inches of rain flooded much of the country's South, adding 18,000 families to the sad roster of 300,000 Haitians, mostly children, who are still living in tent cities they've been calling home since the devastating earthquake of 2010. "Haiti is trying to get its house in order, but each time disaster strikes, the progress is interrupted," said Johan Peleman, head of the UN's Office for the Co-ordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
