Taylor Swift (Selena Gomez' best friend) and the brunette singer's own mom have allegedly been encouraging Selena to drop "the Biebs" [Justin Bieber] like a hot rock according to rumor mill reports emerging Dec. 2. When Hollywood celebrity couples split, the break up ritual seems to be so confusing and difficult.
If you pay any attention at all to teen scene celebrity news then you know Disney princess Selena Gomez and her younger boy toy Justin Bieber have been on the rocks for quite some time. But what you might not know is that there are people in Selena's life who are actually encouraging her to dump the singing sensation and to expand her own emotional, romantic, and professional horizons.
Fashion and Style News says:
"According to a report that was published by Hollywood Life, Swift wanted Gomez to dump Bieber for good and was totally against the two getting back together. According to the report, Swift felt that her friend was being bagged down by all the Bieber drama in her life.
An insider tells Life & Style, "She [Taylor] just feels Selena is getting weighed down by the Justin drama."
The report also states that Gomez's mom Mandy Teefey supported Swift's views a hundred percent.
According to their sources, "Selena's mom, Mandy, doesn't want Selena held back by Justin," says a friend. "She says he's too much trouble."
The Biebs has been plagued with reports he's been cheating on Gomez with random groupies that he pics out of the audience of his concerts. One woman even says he hooked up with her in a bathroom and fathered her child.
While the paternity test results are still pending and Biebs is allegedly settling with the young woman out of court over an undisclosed amount of hush money for child support, there are true rumors swirling that have been proved.
Justin Bieber did go out on a date with a Victoria's Secret model when he and Selena Gomez were fighting. He's also performing on stage with them at their annual fashion show program.
Bieber is incredibly rich and famous and fans who care about the young star worry that he's being encouraged in the wrong directions for his best interest by his mentor Usher. When it comes to giving romantic advice, Bieber's posse seems to be more concerned with scoring with a variety of women rather than settling down long-term.
But it is not just the Biebs' mentors who struggle with the idea of settling down. Taylor Swift is also doling out advice about love and marriage -- with a frown.
American singer Taylor Swift has no plans to get married anytime soon and is eager to make the most of her 20s. “People think I want to get married really young, I don’t know why. I am a romantic person, but that doesn’t mean I want to miss out on being in my young 20s,” contactmusic.com quoted the 22-year-old as saying.
As such, the young celebrity couple really don't have anyone in their inner circle telling them to work things out. What's more, Hollywood culture seems to support celebrity splits more and more.
