Jk at the passive-agressive title, BUT Okay, one question I have for the lot of you...
Why is foreign music, especially any in the asian market, considered such a niche on this website and isn't widely recognized at least HERE, a music forum.
Is it the assumption that all artists from Korea and Japan are idol groups with 100000x songwriters and a team of people who are there to craft them into something marketable.
Or is it that maybe you just can't be bothered listening to music in a different language?
I mean, I know I'm generalizing for the most part. Some of you do bop to foreign artists even though you dont post in the respective threads, I get that. But there's only so many times you can see "I DONT KNOW HA" posted everywhere whenever a foreign artist is pinned against one from the US/UK.
But here, let me ask you dis.
What do you think of this song? It's a little R'n'B ballad with a powerhouse voice behind it. From Korea, see, and there's only one person singing (besides the feature) so seeing 9 blow-up dolls rolling in glitter shouldn't confuse you.
Post y'alls opinions.
