The British producer and the former MTV VJ Erin McNaught make it official… Gorgeous former MTV VJ Erin McNaught and her UK music producer beau Example are engaged!
McNaught was spotted in Sydney over the weekend sporting a sparkly rock on her ring finger as her fiancé, whose real name is Elliot Gleave, hit town to play the Stereosonic festival.
"Yes, Elliot and I are engaged :) Thank you everyone for your lovely well wishes xx @example," Erin tweeted this morning.
Example and the former Miss Australia met in October last year during an interview for MTV.
"When I met her, because she was famous and stunning, I was a bit stuck for words. It's not like me, I'm normally a cocky b****** with girls. But I was like a giggly schoolkid. I don't get starstruck — well, only once with Stevie Wonder — but she turned me into a schoolboy," Example told The Sun recently.
"I don't want to lose her, and if I do behave like an idiot I can tell her. I think I'm going to get married next year and I hope to have kids the year after. I know what I want now."
