Poll: Will Alicia help save/reinvent R&B? Oct 27th 2012, 20:49 R&B is basically dead in terms of sales. 500k is now the average selling R&B album, if lucky. Alicia is looking to have a huge comeback, Girl on Fire is #11 on iTunes combined, and her album is doing well in pre-orders. She is one of very few who may have the power to help bring back R&B to mainstream or make it relevant again. Do you think she will?
