Discussion: Why are male pop artists so basic and generic? Sep 30th 2012, 12:46 I don't think it's fair. The female artists are all unique or creative (or at least interesting) in their own way. Almost all male artists have nothing special about them and are safe and generic. The only MODERN male pop artists that aren't generic are Bruno Mars and Adam Lambert, but they are kinda flopping right now.
