Just last week she was forced to deny rumours that she was dating One Direction’s Niall Horan.
Now it seems Demi Lovato is instead rekindling her romance with former flame Wilma Valderrama, who at 32 is 12 years her senior.
The two enjoyed a romantic late night meal at upscale eatery El Torito in Sherman Oaks on Sunday night.
Blonde Miley was dressed in a sexy mini-skirt, jacket and ankle boots, while Wilmer looked hunky in a skin-tight T-shirt, jeans and sneakers.
And a post-dinner visit to Demi’s home afterwards suggests the evening was more about reigniting their romance than pure platonic bonding.
The pair dated back in 2010 but at the time claimed their romance had become a friendship.
But rumours about the pair reuniting hark back to July when they worked together on a TV spot for philanthropic organization Voto Latino.
On July 29, Demi tweeted a seemingly non-committal photo of herself with a leopard while on set for the campaign, with the accompanying message: 'Just working with a leopard on set yesterday…No big deal.'
In the pic, That 70s Show actor Wilmer is clearly visible, watching Demi protectively while she pets the giant cat.
Yet old emotions spilled over on August 20 when Wilmer gushed over Demi on her birthday tweeting, 'Feliz Cumpleaños to my angel @ddlovato, U continue 2 make me proud. U are the hero this generation it’s been waiting 4! With & by you always.'
Demi, 20, replied to Wilmer, 32, with an affectionate tweet.
'@WValderrama You are amazing…Thank you so much love. You mean the world to me,' she said in a tweet that she’s since deleted.
