Discussion: Why did "Never Close Our Eyes" flop? Aug 14th 2012, 11:57 I'm just curious as what everyone's opinion is as to why Adam Lambert's 2nd single "Never Close Our Eyes" flopped. I mean, the song was radio gold; catchy, upbeat, and dance-pop -- not to mention it was written by Bruno Mars. The video was also very innovative and fresh, though some may say it was too flamboyant at times, but overall the video was one of the best of the year. So what happened? :)
