When people make the argument that so and so has sold x amount of records in USA vs. WW, I'm like.. I know most that try to make artists who sell big or bigger in America vs. everywhere else "local" but what's the point in saying worldwide if you're trying to show what they have sold in countries besides the U.S.? Is America on another planet now?
Oh, and why are artists who sell through the roof in 1 or 2 countries but also have good sales (just not as big) in the other countries collectively deemed "local"? Are there legitimate reasons to call someone that or is it just exaggerated stan talk to dimish rivals?
I'm not big into counting sales or charts or whatever. I just want to know these things
